A bit of a whipping – 2021/11
Walking the Maquis in late afternoon lets you see nature in a different light.
Walking the Maquis in late afternoon lets you see nature in a different light.
Every day there are changes visible, from the first leaves on the Fig trees, to Crocus dying back to be replaced with Allium flowers
As the buds burst on the trees and shrubs, you are treated to all the magnificent spring colours that are in natures pallet.
The spring blossom looks fantastic at the moment. It is the Dol Hanami festival
Dol is bursting into spring. Everywhere there are the spring flowers, early insects and buds swelling on plants.
By late January, there is considerable warmth in the sun. We also now have more than an hour of sunlight each day.
The setting sun illuminates snow falling from a cloud.
Even in winter we can see rainbows, as a fast moving rain storm clears, to be followed by sunshine.
We have reached the end of 2020 and now look forward to a much improved 2021.
Everywhere there are the first signs of spring. Bulbs are putting on new growth and the flower buds will soon be showing.
