Insects a plenty – 2022/25
We have just passed the northern Summer Solstice, so now are on the downhill slope towards winter.

The heat is on and it is also a time of year when if there is some evening cloud, we get to see beautiful sunsets.

June is the time of year when you have to move quickly to pick all the ripe fruit before it starts to fall off the trees.
This is the time of peak flowering. Soon with the arrival of the heat of summer, many species will preserve moisture and energy and take a siesta.
