I watched a summer storm approach the island on Tuesday. After short but intense rainfall, the skies cleared and the sun came out.

There are a few visiting yachts moored in Stari Grad harbour. However it is nowhere near the number normally seen at this time of year. Also there is not a single “superyacht” which is very unusual.
I have planted several varieties of Passion Flower, including this variety Rubra.
We have passed the northern Summer Solstice, and at the end of June, there are just six months to go before we are in winter. Brrrr.
Every garden needs something a little different, spectacular even. If you can’t get a Triffid seed, then try and Echium “Blue Steeple”.
Spring is almost over and the early flowering plants, like this Rosemary bush are attracting the pollinators.
